Terms and Conditions

Replacement Guarantee during Manufacturer’s Warranty

 

The replacement Guarantee or Warranties will be subject to the Manufacturer’s conditions on Guarantee/Warranty and is subject to verification by authorized service centers. The Guarantee/Warranty will also be subject to the following General Exclusions. The verification process and transaction for the same may take up to seven days in normal circumstances, and more than seven days in exceptional circumstances. Our technical team will let you soon regarding this after reporting the defect by you.

 

General Exclusions

    • Software Malfunctioning, accidental damages (such as drops, spills & liquid immersion) and defects arising out of natural calamities will not be covered under replacement Claims arising from the failure to follow Manufacturer’s instructions.
    • When the serial/model number of a product has been tampered with or removed.
    • YKA will not have any liability due to delays arising because of non-availability of spare parts, import restrictions from respective countries and matters on which YKA does not have any control
    • Any defect caused as a result of improper usage, negligence, transit/transportation damage and willful misuse
    • Loss or damage caused by fire, explosion, flood, earthquake, accident, sand, water or other natural calamities, voltage fluctuations, wrong power supply, video head cleaning, corrosion, rust or stain or any problem with the supply of electricity, gas or water, theft, attempted theft, accidental damage.
    • Modification/alteration of any sort made to circuitry, the original design of the appliance.
    • Liability on losses is accepted strictly as per the Manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
    • Any defect that is not initially covered by the Manufacturer or supplier warranty.
    • Appliances used for commercial or rental purposes
    • Routine maintenance, cleaning lubrication, adjustments or alignments, overhaul, accessories, modification, unauthorized repairs by the third party, de-scaling, gas refilling and AC maintenance & Service
    • Appliances being recalled by the Manufacturer.
    • Loss or damage caused by wear and tear, normal deterioration, wrong usage or defect due to no usage
    • Any loss or damage to a person or property, direct, consequential or incidental damages arising from the inability to use the appliance.
    • Cosmetic damage including but not limited to damage to paintwork or dents or scratches.
    • Visiting, Service, checking, and labor costs are not covered if no manufacturing fault is found in the appliance.
    • Belts, evaporator coils, air filters, condenser coils, gas charging, circuit breakers, voltage stabilizers, scanners, remote controls, sheet metal parts, compressor, consumables, thermocol parts and all plastic parts
    • Imperfect / unfinished installation or incorrect operation or incorrect voltage and excessive use & maintenance, cleaning or damage resulting from failure to perform normal maintenance as outlined in the owner’s manual
    • Coverage is only provided on split and window air-conditioners up to 3-ton capacity.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: BUY & FLY CAMPAIGN for SUPER GENERAL Window and Split Air

Conditioners

 

  1. Airfare: Receive economy class tickets for two individuals to Istanbul, Türkiye, valid for 6 months from each raffle draw date mentioned below. Any alterations to the return flight beyond the stated travel date will incur additional costs borne by the winner, Participants are not allowed to sell the tickets to any other party.

 

  1. Hotel Stay: The trip package entitles the winners to a 3-night, 4-day stay for two individuals at a 4-star hotel in Istanbul, Türkiye, on a double occupancy basis.

 

  1. Additional Expenses: Winners are responsible for any expenses beyond those explicitly covered in the voucher.

 

  1. Eligibility Criteria: Participation in the raffle draw requires the purchase of Super General Airconditioners between June 1st and October 31st, 2024. Each AC purchase entitles the buyer to one entry into the draw.

 

  1. Visa and Insurance: Winners must independently arrange for any necessary visas or insurance for their trip, we are not responsible for any accidents or injuries during the winners' trip.

 

  1. Prize Conditions: Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or other forms.

Expenses not explicitly covered by the prize package are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes forfeited for any reason, such as inability to travel or secure necessary documents, will not be compensated.

  1. Privacy and Data Handling: Personal data collected for this campaign is strictly for use in administration and execution of the "Buy & Fly Campaign". YKA Electronics commits to adhering to applicable data protection laws, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity. Data will be retained only for the duration necessary for the campaign and audits. Data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as necessary for campaign execution.

 

  1. Participating Locations: The promotion is available at YKA Electronics and Home Appliances showrooms in Manama and Gudaibiya, as well as in participating Hypermarkets, Power retailers, and Dealers across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

  1. Entry Procedure: After purchasing a Super General Air-conditioner, the buyer will register the following information via the provided link: Name, CPR Number, Invoice number, Quantity of ACs purchased, date of purchase, mobile number, and email.

 

  • Upon successful registration, the application will confirm the registration.

 

  • Each AC purchase entitles the buyer to one entry into the monthly raffle draw. Multiple entries are possible with multiple AC purchases.

 

 

 

  1. Raffle Schedule: Raffle draws will be conducted online via Teams/Zoom on the second Wednesday of each month from July to November 2024, according to the following schedule:

June 1st to June 30th

Raffle draw on July 14th – 10.00am

July 1st to July 30th

Raffle draw on August 14th – 12.00pm

August 1st to August 30th

Raffle draw on September 11th – 12.00pm

September 1st to September 30th

Raffle draw on October 9th – 11.00am

October 1st to October 31st

1 Raffle draw on November 13th – 12.00pm

October 1st to October 31st

1 Raffle draw on November 14th – 10.00am

  • 1 winner for the draws in July, Aug, Sept and October and 2 winners for the last draw in Nov. The winners will have the choice of selecting their accompanying partner for the trip.
  • Non-winners in the draw month will automatically receive another chance of winning in the upcoming draw dates until the end of the campaign.
  1. Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced through YKA Electronics and Home Appliances social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook).  Moreover, YKA Electronics and Home Appliances will be calling the winner via the registered mobile number.

 

  1. Documentation Requirement: Prize claims must be accompanied by original purchase invoice, valid CPR card, installation site verification and any additional identification required by YKA Electronics. Failure to comply with documentation or T&C requirements may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture. YKA reserves the right to conduct further checks prior to prize awarding.

 

  1. Prize Redemption: Upon announcement, prizes can be claimed at the YKA Electronic Showroom in Manama.

 

  1. Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel the participation of any individual in the campaign if a violation in the terms and conditions is discovered. Modification of terms and conditions of this campaign is reserved at any time without prior notice, In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the campaign after informing and getting approval from MOIC.

 

  1. Price list: The prices might vary between hypermarkets, dealers and showrooms.
